We didn't do much chalking through the summer either! Really fall is better for all those outdoorsy things, when it's not so stinkin' hot. (tho it's still in the 90s here!)
I like your diagonal compoistion, and those colors against the gray concrete are striking.
Fabulous composition and color contrast...I adore this shot. It makes me think of days LONG gone with my now 18 year old. We always waited to do sidewalk chalk until it cooled off a bit outside. You are not late at all! If you try it in mid-summer here, the concrete is much too hot! Beautiful job, my friend. Andi
Oh I love sidewalk chalk. When I was little we had a carport so we could even use the sidewalk chalk on the concret in the carport when it rained. Great angle.
Love that shot. Looks great on the black background! Best wait til Autumn so the chalk gets rained off and you can do another one! Thanks for your kind words on my blog btw. Glad you liked the new header...but why would YOU need anything new? Your site looks great!!
Love the perspective in this shot. I have to say... I hate sidewalk chalk in the summer. The pavement and sidewalks are just too hot. Fall is a much better time for it!
I love this shot...the colors contrasting with the gray are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel--we're doing more beach and swimming than in July!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, I really love the textures.
Great great shot. Yay for fall! :)
ReplyDeleteNice shot! Better late than never.
ReplyDeleteCreative shot. The diagonal and soft pastels against the gray are striking. It can't feel like fall at your place, can it? Hot as heck here .
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
ReplyDeleteHey, so long as you get around to it, who cares what the calendar says?

I never would have thought to take a shot like that - and I love it! What a great shot!

ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Who cares if you're behind! Until it gets really cold sidewalk chalk is a must!
ReplyDeletebeautiful picture. sometimes these "rites of passage" work better when it's not so hot out!
ReplyDeleteSidewalk chalk is a wonderful thing anytime! Hope you had a fun time.
ReplyDeleteI'm back because there is a smile for you at my place. :)
