Memories from being away
(with no kids!!!)
Actually, I'm the only one with a young child. Two of my friends have children that are in college (or older) and the other friend has high school aged children. As they liked to point out after several tropical drinks, they are all old enough to be my mother!!
Somehow, friendship defies age.

ReplyDeleteGood for you!! To sum up on your last few posts, sounds like many of us have been overwhelmed and stressed lately. I know I have. In fact I could use a couple days away, but it ain't gonna happen. At least the husband is healing well from the surgery.

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that when you are younger... until about college... age is so important. You always know how old your friends are (especially because they are usually in your grade in school or whatever). Once you're out of school... and I think especially once you're a mom... it just doesn't matter any more.
