My dear friend, Melody, hosts SOOC each weekend. Her images are breathtaking...mine are mediocre. But I want to start playing each weekend. After all, I'm in the habit of taking hundreds of pictures each week. Surely I have something from the week that I can post SOOC. One of my problems is that I love to edit the mess out of my pictures! I love playing with the levels, gradient map, saturation and on and on and on.
This week's picture comes from Winter Jam 2010. It was a fabulous concert with many of our favorite Christian artists. This is the lead singer from Newsboys as he ascended in the air. I love how he is highlighted and the rest of the picture is so dark, with a hint of the crowd at the bottom. I did have to resize the image so it would upload.
Can't wait to see what everyone else is showing for SOOC this week!

what fun....the photo turned out great.
I clicked for the large version. Suhweet capture. The light is great. He is highlighted, the smoke is awesome, and I love the touches of light which illuminate the peeks of audience.
I dunno Nat - I think that's a pretty darn awesome photo exactly as captured!
Boy these Christian musos love a bit of theatre don't they??? :-D A far cry from the Church of England community choirs.
