I got it!

Sometimes, every now-and-then, you know when you've learned something. You are cognitively aware that you now know something you did not know 10 minutes ago. I read several photography blogs. I've even taken a great photography class locally. I've heard about natural lighting. I try to take pictures of M in natural lighting without my fill flash. But today. Today something big happened. I got it! The natural lightbulb went off! I didn't put her here. She was at the other end of the bench. She craweled to this spot. And I knew! I could see it--it's been right in front of me all along! This picture is amazing to me--the lighting is exactly what I want, soft and glowy. Don't you just want to grab M up and gobble her for a while!?! Here it is, ladies. A lesson learned. It only took a year, but I've got it now. Now that I've actually experience THE LIGHT, I'll know how to see it more clearly next time.

I can see clearly now...

She's a doll. And I can sense your enthusiasm about "seeing the light". Lovely photo.

Yipee! I was so pumped when I got that "eureka!" moment of how it all worked. Love the shot, too. M is a cutie!
