Perfection

Five tiny fingers on two hands
Glittering ring of love
Warm spots vacated by the family dog
Lasagna, covered in melted cheese, fresh from the oven
The compassionate voice of Mom

Wrinkled sheets that smell of sleep
Steamy bathrooms
Vanilla jasmine tea, hot
light on the sugar

Old buildings, new businesses
Late night movies
Snuggles on the couch
Toddler giggles and pink hair bows

Carpet warmed by sunshine
Whine of the dishwasher
Starbuck's Raspberry Mocha
Crunchy autumn leaves

Sovereignty of God
Love of Christ
