MBS: Trip Home

After the best family vacation EVER, we drove the entire way home under this immense cloud. Our timing could not have been more perfect. We did not have one single drop of rain the entire time we were away from home.

I'll post pictures from vacation later. I have lots of best shots, but this picture is so different from all the others.

For other MBS, check out Slurping Life...where they really were slurping life on the 4th.

what a very interesting shot. I love how the sky is layered like that. Lovely.

What a moment to have a camera in your hand! That sky is really something -- glad you outran the cloud (looks like it means business!) :)

You didn't manage to get soaked by that - wow! I love how clear the definition between all the layers are...it's just so striking.

Wow, that is one looming cloud! I love the blue peeking out at the far end.

Reminds me (for some reason) of the winter we drove across the state of Minnesota in a RAGING snow storm. (I was in High School.) You couldn't even see past the hood of the car; but my step-dad pressed on. (No Stress there) Literally when we crossed into South Dakota it was sunny and clear. Like stepping through a door. And if you turned around and looked back it was a big white/gray wall. Vivid to this day.
