5 minute post

Usually I take a few minutes to think about my post and read and reread before I hit publish post. Not tonight. I've too much to do before heading to bed.

Today was my first day of preplanning. There should be something illegal about returning to work in July!!!!! Oh, well. It was actually a great day. I feel great about this year. I'm more rested than I was last year. My room is a t-total disaster, but that will come together. And what doesn't happen, doesn't happen. No worries.

Tonight I went to the movies with two of my friends to see Mamma Mia. Let me tell you, if you can spare the $8 (YES!! Our movie theater charges 8 dollars!! That's highway robbery!), you should definitely see it. I found myself wiggling in my seat to the music and laughing. It was probably one of the BEST movies I've seen in a long, long time. I happen to like musicals, so it was good because of the music, but even if you don't enjoy musicals, I think you'll enjoy this movie. It felt so strange to be out on a "school" night--almost sinful. It was so fun!! My favorite scene was "Dancing Queen."

I'm off to do some school work before I hit the sack. Okay, my five bloggy minutes are up. Sweet dreams, friends...I hope you're enjoying the rest of your summer.

Oh, I am so glad that this year is off to such a great start for you! I think my year will be quite good as well...at least if today is any indication.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this movie. Cindy and her friends saw it, and she HIGHLY recommended it- total chick flick she said. I think I am going to kidnap the daughter this weekend and make her go with me...she'll love it. Sweet dreams- I will be off to bed soon too...
