Crummy poetry might make you do some unusual things. Unkind, even.
For example:
It might make you groan under your breath in agony.
It might make you roll your usually very controllable eyes in the most uncontrollable fashion.
It might make you lift your shoulders and drop them repeatedly every time the teacher opens his mouth.
It might make you testy with your friends.
It might make your most conservative friend laugh at your not-very-conservative jokes or poems. (She might not laugh at these jokes normally.)
It might make you say things like "Well, as big a bite as that is, you should have eaten the whole thing!" even if you are one of the nicest people sitting at the table and you were speaking to a pregnant woman.
Crummy poetry might give you an agonizing headache.
PS: I am NOT referring to myself in the above situations that MIGHT have occur ed. I'm sharing things that my friends MIGHT have done and caused me to laugh, sometimes out loud, and make the weekend a tad bit bearable.
Only three more weekends (One in July, August, and September) and my friends and I will be DONE. FINISHED. COMPLETED. GRADUATED. We have worked hard and will have given up 22 weekends to have this degree. It's been a long and difficult process, but so worth it. Even if it involved crummy poetry, snap-and-clap, and lots of under-the-breath comments.

I know Ernie woulda NEVER said that to Burt.
I feel sorrier than an ant wallowing in the dirt.
(How's that for an apology?!)LOL
Mr. D, our professor, would certainly like it. Maybe I'll snap and clap too...Do you think the pregnant princess will forgive me?
God help us all for next month.
Best wishes for fabulous poetic inspiration...
Much love, Andria

how are you?
You are too funny. :) Hang on...the end is near. OK, that might not sound like a good thing, but it is.
Sounds like you are loving your class. ;) Almost there, though!
