The Benson Family and Other Stuff: Sad day

We had to put down both our cats today. They had good lives with us. We all will miss them.

We had two cats when we moved in 2005. They were called Merry and Pippin after 'Lord of the Rings'. Pippin, chosen by the BA when he was a tiny, ugly, characterless kitten, remains an aloof, neurotic, demanding feline. Merry, who was an affectionate, pretty, glamorous, personality packed kitten, died of a snakebite within a month of the move.
